“On behalf of the Transportation Improvement Association (TIA), my heartfelt sympathy goes out to Sheriff Napoleon’s family, friends, and the entire law enforcement community. Sheriff Napoleon dedicated his life to serving and protecting the city of Detroit and Wayne County. He also served as a TIA Trustee. Sheriff Napoleon is a true hero and will always be remembered.
As a COVID-19 survivor who was hospitalized in March, this is another sad reminder that COVID-19 remains a danger to us all. We can help keep others safe by staying home when ill or having been exposed. It is imperative that we all unite and take action to defeat our enemy, which is COVID-19.”
